The Kopaonik Business Forum, often referred to as the "Serbian Davos," has been a premier economic conference in Southeast Europe for over 30 years, bringing together business leaders, government officials, diplomats, investors, NGOs, and thought leaders.
The 2025 forum, held from March 2-5, focused on the theme "Serbia 2027: Aiming for a High-Income Economy," addressing critical economic, political, and technological issues shaping Serbia and the wider region. Discussions covered Serbia’s macroeconomic outlook, regional cooperation, digital transformation, AI’s role in economic development, and sustainable business practices. Experts and policymakers also explored energy security, financial sector reforms, and strategies for Serbia to strengthen its position in the global economy.
One of the standout sessions examined the impact of the creative industries, innovation, and entrepreneurship on economic growth. With a strong focus on investment opportunities, the forum brought together key stakeholders aiming to drive long-term prosperity in the Balkans.
Beyond economics, the event fostered high-level networking, encouraging partnerships between the private and public sectors. As Blair in Belgrade, I had the opportunity to attend and create content that highlights the forum’s significance to both Serbia and the global business community.
